So.
All my posts got deleted for a TOS violation.
This is pretty annoying as all the mp3s hosted were ones i’d asked for permission for form the artists/labels involved. Meaning everything was nice and legal. In all cases, the artists involved were pleased to have people hear their work.
Anyway.
This means it’s time for a re-vamp.
I’m gonna get on with a lot of things tomorrow. But from now on … i may not write about the bands. The reason for this is that of late i have fallen seriously out of love with music criticism. I think it spoils the magic, and is often extremely misguided and lacking in any sort of objectivity. It shocks me how narrow minded critics, even from broadsheets, can be. And in an effort to not become just another armchair critic, blogger, message board reader, or whatever, i intend to abandon it.
The music should do the talking anyway, not me. I may ask people to give photos instead, which to my mind, is a far more eloquant way of talking about music.
